I cant stop to use the pitch shifter with dirt and a octave down. It tracks great and sounds massive!

what do you mean already on the chip? what kind of chip does the RRR use? good to know! makes me appreciate the bq verb that much more.

flanger: I put ctrl 1 at like 10 (anymore left and it's too slow or something/won't swoosh), ctrl 2 around 1/2 with ctrl 0 to taste. full left or right is usually too dramatic so I put it somewhere between. tone full bright and there's definitely some swoosh

A question about the NOTCH FILTER effect... it says in the instructions that it works as a phaser, but I have found it to be an excellent treble-boost effect to use after a fuzz..it seems to boot the signal to a louder, more compressed and trebly sound, aslmost metallic. Chords just become massive with this setting... is this how the effect is supposed to work?

Yeah, the RRR uses a wavefront chip that is hard coded by the designer. Same dude who did the spin as well.

This is a serious question: has anyone done anything cool with the notch filter?

I started using both the Notch filter and the HP LP Filter quests much more once I started feeding them really ugly bright sounds.

First I cranked the tone knob on a big muff and used the notch filter to make it sound good and balanced again, then I used the strangle switch on my Jaguar to cut all the bass and unclutter all that the filter and bit crush quests had going on.

Yeah I've been doing the same, it almost seems like a treble/volume boost, a BigMuff just becomes MASSIVE with the notch filter, and the instructions says it's a 'phaser' or something???

Re notch filter: It only sounds like a phaser when you use it with the expression pedal.

The notch filter cuts a narrow band out of your EQ, kinda the opposite of what a wah does (sharp spike in EQ). They can be handy for cutting out a frequency that's causing feedback with acoustic instruments.

The expression pedal lets you run the notch back and forth across the EQ range, which does give a very cool manual phaser sound.

Got one recently and love it. Mostly use the reverb, ring mod, delay and bit crusher.

Here's a setting for a whammy-like ring mod. I'll try to post a clip of it later, but I highly recommend this setting!

Anyone have any favorite ways to use a Count to 5 with a BitQuest?

Put the Ct5 in reverse octave up, mix to taste, with a really long dark BQ reverb. Relatively non-cheesy crystals sort of sound.
Delay in the glitch delay zone>mode 2 doing glitch looping.

These are two I end up with a fair bit.

I also like setting a cool loop up in the ct5 then bitcrushing it or filtering it
