I found a really cool variable tremolo sound with the clean ring mod. I'm sure everyone's stumbled upon this one already, but here it is anyways. I'm using it on bass, so YMMV.

Ctrl 1: 8-10 o clock depending on how fast a trem you want.
Ctrl 2: also to taste. I like it around 9 o clock.
Tone : 8 - 10 o clock for bass throb.
Ctrl 0: Around 11 o clock, but also sort of depends on your preference. I like it around the middle because its a slow enough modulation that you can really get the full effect.
Mix : 1 o clock or so
Volume: whatever

Now play a single note or a big chord and let it ring out. It should sound sort of like "wawawawawaaaaaaaawawawawawaaaaaa"
If that makes any sense.

I also found a really cool setting on the clean delay. I really prefer the clean patches personally. And then I add dirt as I see fit.

Anyways, this one modulates the delay at an agonizingly slow speed. Really good for noisy ambient parts maybe?

Ctrl1: 3-4 o clock or so. A little longer than a slapback I guess.
Ctrl 2: max (or close). Definitely sounds best oscillating wildly.
Tone: whatever. I like mine pretty dark.
Ctrl0: just a hair above zero. Just enough for the modulation to start.
Volume and mix to taste.

Again, fairly basic I guess but its fun to share.

I'll try to record some stuff on bass later in the week. Reverb swells on full wet with some big fuzz is a lot of fun on bass. Sounds like a foghorn. Or a sea monster.

I want a second BitQuest.

Alright so I finally got a few clips recorded the other night:

The first is infinite reverb as a type of Freeze/Loop.
Using the expression wheel can control the sustain/decay of the note, so you can start out not having it infinite but then swell into infinite. Really neat.

The next one uses the delay almost like a glitchy sitar. The hardest plucked notes will be retained in the short glitchy infinite repeat and almost sound like a steel drum. The only bad part is you gotta tweak the repeat amount if you want the droning to stop. It's gotta be cranked to get the effect to work though.

Here is the delay pitch shifting into something mildly familiar:

Here is looping with the repeat amount set to max:

Thanks man! I want to sit down with it some more and tweak it to get some of the other sounds that I've been using with it. I'll also need to actually jot down the knob settings from those videos haha

Yeah, I'm too cheap for an actual expression pedal so I made that the other day. It's like unlocking a 4th dimension!

I found a Polytope-esque chorus/detune effect with the clean pitch shift. I just bumped one pitch right below the root and one right above. Just a hair. You'll have to adjust the mix so it doesn't get muddy. I like to turn the mix to about 10-11 o clock and turn the tone up pretty bright for a sparkly chorus type thing.
