Best DM album hey! Well one of them anyway, I really dig it too.. I love the synth outro on Personal Jesus, those rolling synths and the reverb.. what a sound.

resincum wrote:fuck I spent like 10 minutes thinking something was fucked up with my quest cause it wouldn't modulate and was super quite with vol/mix maxed but that damn filter mode had me fooled!!

i am FASCISNAATED by the modulation on the bitcrush mode  i could listen to this thing sweep for years through multiple dimensions!! thank you so much ryan

Glad you're having fun with it Hammy, thank you rightbackatcha! There's a couple BitQuest settings that result in dead silence isn't there.. I probably shouldn't let that happen but sometimes extreme settings go to extreme.... silence. Especially with filters.

Just wanted to drop in and say today the only pedals I used in my set were my Klone and my BitQuest on reverb mode, set slightly dark, near infinite decay, zero modulation, mix up fairly high and a little bit of predelay to set things off. Man, it was awesome.

The BitQuest's been out for a while, Zzombie. Can't remember if there was a pre-sale. If there was, it was a long time ago.

Ryan may be between BitQuest runs right now. That may be why they're hard to find. He's been building The Heisenberg mostly I think.

Ryan did a run of them recently but they went super fast. Fuzzmonster.dk is the only place I know of with them in stock.

Also I have to post this.

This is breitnersen's setting for the best clean quest sample rate reduction ever!
Thanks mate!

Ctrl1 - fully counter clockwise
Ctrl2 - 12 o'clock
Tone - fully clockwise
Ctrl0 - fully counter clockwise
Vol - 3-4 o'clock
Mix - 10-11 o'clock

you will hear the "inverted" overtones and it kind of behaves like an od.

I liked that ^ having turned it on I started mucking about and found a nice Ring Mod setting:

Ctrl 1 - 1:30
Ctrl 2 - 10:00
Tone - 12:00
Ctrl 0 - 7:00 (Max)
Vol - 1:30
Mix - 7:00

First post here on ILF!

I recently bought a BitQuest! and have been LOVING the versatility of tones.

I searched for some settings online and found this forum and this thread. Talk about a resource!

I've gone through the first 2 pages, and found a lot of useful stuff already.

Here's my contribution: a filthy, dirty, 5th down fuzz tone for low grungy rock:

Mode: Dirty Pitch
Vol: to taste, had mine around 8:00 (can get loud!)
Mix: full up
Tone: to taste, had mine around 2:30
Gain: full up
CTRL1: 9:30
CTLR2: 11:30

Play low single notes and doom out!!

This is by far my favourite delay mode. It just modulates and eats itself into a bit crushing cacophony of beautiful mess :
