Buddy, if you capture that in HD and do some live commentary I'll watch every single video!

When I had a RRR I would always forget I turned it on until I played and a giant bloom of reverb emerged from my amp. Quiet as a church mouse with my one spot.

Hi.
I bought a green Reverberator today. I put it on my board, powered it with a fuel tank and it made a powerful hum when activated.
I tried having the Reverberator as the only pedal plugged in the fuel tank and the only one in the chain, and it sounded just as bad.
When I powered it with a separate boss 9v adapter it was silent, but I dont really wanna use an extra adapter if I dont have to.
Sound familiar? Any tips?

I Have now tried Holy Grail, Hall of Fame and Ghost Echo in the same position on the board powered the same way, and none of them make any hum.
And the Reverberator is only quiet when i use a seperate adapter. Also tried it in a chain powered by a one spot and it worked fine.
Maybe it just doesnt work with a Fuel Tank, but I googled it and found nothing.

Hey Myrrh, I'm sorry to hear about the problem you're having with the Fuel Tank.. I'm afraid I don't have any tips or suggestions other than to say the Fuel Tank is by far the most complained about power supply when it comes to the Reverberator. They work ok for the hard-click version, I think, but they apparently don't have enough juice for the soft touch version. *apologies*

Ok! Thanks. I need to get myself a bigger power supply anyways. The pedal itself seems great by the way.

Well anybody reading this that wants to get rid of a Fuel Tank, hit me up for a trade... I'd like to have one of these supplies so I can try to trouble-shoot with it. I think ultimately though it's just a current supply/demand issue. For one thing, a Fuel Tank isn't really an isolated supply, it's just a bunch of regulators, so interference is still highly likely. But the other problem is it only has 100mA outputs and the Reverberator needs really close to that... digital pedals don't like being close, they like having room.
Glad you dig the pedal though, thank you!

I can trade you mine in a little while.
Edit : Im in europe so that doesnt really work...

I use my Reverberator with a Fuel Tank Classic, but I took the precaution of using a Diago isolator adapter with the pedal (the FT 9v outputs aren't isolated) and it works fine. However, i think the 12v slots are both isolated, so you could use that.

I've never heard of that Diago isolator adapter before, that's pretty cool.. gotta get me one!

Wow! I have to try that.

I've got a Fuel Tank Jr. and a Diago Isolator coming in the mail... the ultimate showdown of good vs hum!

I have a fuel tank jr, the RRR hums with the CCv3 but not on my PP+. Check and see if you see the same thing.
