In the past I've typically liked my ODs at higher voltages when they accept them, but I actually prefer The Elements at 9V.

oh man ... I dunno if I want to just completely stop listening to these demos or just stop listening to everything else ... I haven't listened to every demo but enough to think a player could just about flip switches and twist knobs at random and have a great sound. The voicing of this pedal seems to be so good, perfect even, what a great ear you must have, Ryan. You could hand this pedal and just any basic amp to some cranky old unconvincable guitar-cord-cranked tube amp diehard (heh ... like me) and just ... well, totally convince them.

I wonder how a few Dr. Scientist pedals - if at least one of them is an Elements - would stack up against the very high-end amp modeling systems that are out there ... I'd bet you would give those set-ups a real run for their money - and for a fraction of the cost.

The Elements is a great pedal but my unit doesn't seem to like being daisy chained, is that normal? I suppose it might depend on the combination of pedals?

Hmm, the Adam is really good, and I've used two Elements with cioks stuff for years.

What setting are you using and what is it daisychained with?

Hey yall!
Anybody stacking their elements with fuzz?
I've had mixed results with a tafm after the elements producing some noise issues... I'm guessing I should probably try switching around the order but wanted to hear some other experiences! :)
Any good stacking combos? Low gain, high gain, fuzz and boosts... Bring it on! :)

I've been stacking it into Heisenberg and it gets super sludgy.
Love it.

my dirt goes Blackout Effectors Twosome -> Frazz Dazzler -> Elements -> Heisenberg

I also often hit Elements -> Heisenberg

Between Frazz, Elements, and Heisy, Ryan has his dirt offerings on point!

For sure!

I've got Elements>Heisenberg on my small board, and it's causing a real dilemma. Get that tight high gain Elements going, or the slightly looser, sludgier stacked combo? Trying to work out what suits our music the best and keep coming up with "both", which doesn't help.

I am 10 years late in the game, but I'm blown away by this pedal.
Got it last week and barely got time to scratch the surface of it but i've already found an awesome combo with The Elements set for a mid/high gain tone followed by the Bitquest in Notch Filter mode which results in a RAT-ish distortion that goes in similar-swedish chainsaw-territory when i turn on the BQ.

I was just fucking around with the Elements and found a setting that instantly made me play Them Bones by AIC.
That. Exact. Tone.
I don't know how but my hands automatically went and played that solo, and I swear I haven't played it since, I don't know, 10 years? I donn't even remember having learned it.
Muscle memory ftw.

So I just spent the last hour on the memory lane playing Dirt riffs like when I was in high school.

Amazing pedal.
