So far I've only got to play it on my home rig at very low volume, which can be deceiving, but I've found a stupid amount of great sounds. Drove all day yesterday with the family up to a studio further north in Sweden and hopefully I'll get a chance to try out the Elements with some proper volume and with the gig rig. We're recording drums this weekend, but we'll probably record a couple of guitar guide tracks anyway so I'm keeping my fingers crossed I'll get to jam for reals this afternoon!

Thus far though I think the pedal is unbelievable, as you've heard from like, everyone. Ever. It's possible to find nice sounds in so many different ways - there just isn't anything on the market that can compete really. For example the LED clipping I thought gave an awesome tightness to the higher gain sounds, no clipping gave a really nice open and big mid gain, and asymmetric clipping gave a great character to low gain stuff. You can do the same thing for any of the features on the pedal - quickly and easily list how you can find useable sounds for everything. Mad props! And you've got a fantastic ear for tuning stuff - the midrange sounds "just right" and the treble is just right, everything is easy to balance...

Once I've tried out the pedal on my main rig I'll post some settings - already found a couple of sounds I love!

Thanks Ryan, you and Tanya are the best.

That's awesome to read, Matt, thank you very much! I'm really glad you're clicking with it and totally getting all the features and uses.. I really appreciate it.

You kinda had to like it though.. since it's personalized to you inside you could never sell it unless you found somebody with the same name! *smile*

That's a good point - except you're forgetting how mega famous I am so I could sell it for like ... triple... the normal price. It's pretty seldom that I sell pedals - it's mostly a question of "gig board/home board/rainy day drawer". :)

Tried it out in the studio with the "proper" rig. Man, this pedal runs hot! Had to jigger with my amp a bit to be able to use the second gain stage, at first it was just a wall of screaming feedback, regardless of the volume on the amp. But when I changed the eq on both the pedal and the amp I found some sounds with massive chunk and good definition as well. Sounded really good beside the other guitarist's 5150. I was also really surprised at how bad ass it sounded with just the first gain stage on, but totally dimed. Really good metal rhythm sounds, and I love the added compression with the LED clipping.

Ran it through a LAB series L11 200 watt solid state head and a cab with Eminence Texas Heat speakers. So if anyone (like me haha) asks if it sounds good with solid state you can confidently answer YES!

Good point buddy, the mega fame is gonna make your pedal worth a fortune!

Awesome to hear it's working well for you, thank you again! Great info about the solid state amp, that comes up for sure and I've only got a half solid state amp.

Got mine in. Thanks, Ryan.

It really is my favorite OD. So good. It doesn't alter my sound at all, which other people might want, but I've spent a LONG time finding the right amp and the right bass (that one I got lucky on and didn't look so long for) and I don't want a pedal that's going to change that sound. This is awesome. And the versatility is insane.

Such a cool idea, wish more builders would do something similar...my birthday is in October, I'll be looking to get into an Elements if I can wait that long.
I don't see them on your website proper, they're not being discontinued, are they?
