My Mid-fi Collection.... Woohoo!!!

Postby magnus02 » Sun May 15, 2011 6:42 pm

So it's a rainy sunday in nyc and what better to do than take pictures of pedals and post them online???

Here's what I'm working with...

Image

Far left is my custom What? in a wah shell painted pink. The rocker controls one of the knobs.

Top pedal to the right is my beloved Clari(not).

Below that is the equally sick Pitch Pirate.

Then a Glitch Computer with some funky graphics.

Then my proto bit crusher. He makes a one knobber now but this original one also has a lfo for some craziness. It's wild...

Then to the right is my newest acquisition. It's the proto for the new Demo Tape Fuzz pedal. It's in a gold/black sparkle enclosure and I've got to say I freakin love this thing. Not a TON of different sounds like some of his other pedals, but the fuzz tones in their are wildly addictive. Just a fun pedal to play.

So... that's what I have... for now... I kind of what a Random Number Generator though...

Anyone else care to share some pics of what they have???

Nice!

How do you use the What? It's a bizarre pedal for sure and I'm not always sure what to do with it... I kind of want to try a bass through it though

this is the 2nd What I've had, picked it up a couple months ago. Really regretted selling the 1st one but I haven't messed with the new one much. Used the old one for a couple of parts in my old band, not sure if I can work it into what I'm doing now but it's nice to have around again.

There was one setting on my 1s one where the note would swell in then explode into glitchiness as it decayed, haven't found that on this one yet.

I'll try and make a demo with my roommates iPhone at some point... Never made one and this will be a hard pedal to demo bc its weird to say the least but I'll give it a shot soon
