Great Wall right? That finish is awesome! I love it. Am I seeing it wrong or is it a sort of wizardish character?

I wonder if this was one of the Great Walls with actual art from the Berlin Wall on it. That's what I'm guessing from the little half-heart with "05" in it. You know, like when the Wall finally came down in 2005.

p.s. I think this is on a Great Wall somewhere, too.

SUPER early Great Wall. V1, 2009? Not much like recent ones. But yeah, always liked that graphic. Yep, it's graffiti from the Berlin Wall.

What the, Why??? :why:

I remember when it DID come down you could buy lil pieces at Service Merchandise and me and my friend were laughing that people were paying $19.99 for "some rocks"... The older folks thought is was vulgar to be selling it... I wish I would've at least lifted a few...

I'm just sayin' that that explains the "05" in the little heart graffiti thing there in the lower left-hand corner... you can tell it came from the Berlin Wall during the year it came down.

It "came down" in 1989, officially, but the coming down was also somewhat symbolic, cause a lot of it still stood. Right?

For example, 2007:

I know they tore down the unofficial memorial in '05...

I spent spring semester of '00 in Germany during college, and remember being surprised that there were still large sections of the wall up. I made 4 of my friends stand there and wait while I went nuts looking for something to chip a piece off with. I ended up finding a rusty metal pipe in a scrap heap a few blocks away and then went back and started swinging away at it. Right when I broke off a dollar-bill sized chunk of the wall, a couple Polizei turned the corner and were walking our way. We all started freaking out and thought we were going to be thrown in prison, but they came up to us smiling and asked if we were Americans. I guess Americans do that a lot.

Shiiiiiiiit I've never even been to Europe. Or anywhere outside of the big 3 of N.A. I'd like to visit Sweden, the Netherlands, and Germany for a taste of my heritage. I mean I love beer, but maybe that's not enough.
