Very cool intriguing pedal. Even with "normal" use it's a beatiful dying battery octave-up ring moddy fuzz. Comparable to a B:Assmaster. :thumb:
ILF pedals: DE Eye of God, Mellowtone Wolf Computer, Mellowtone Singing Tree LE, Fuzzhugger Arc Flash Oscillator, DSc Miniberator, Mysterious J boost/cut/tremolo pedal

Caracol came in yesterday. I worked all night and didn't get a chance to mess with it yet :( But upon opening the box,and seeing all you d00dz that've had it prior to me made my night  I will get to it tonight and use it in conjunction with my AB Synth,Phantom Arcade, and some delay :joy: :joy: :joy:

What a fun little box! Adam,I love yr pedals :) So stoked about the Orbit :thumb: Used it with delay and it was the sonic equivalent of stained glass(Yes,I do realize how very TGP that sounds  ) It gave the repeats a zippy fuzz with blooms/decays fer dayze :excellent:

Hey all. Just posted my Caracol demo. This thing is a bottomless pit of awesome!

For the demo I recorded a MIDI track of some chord changes and played them on a Yamaha TX 801 FM synth. The audio from the synth is used in the carrier input on the Caracol to frequency modulate the guitar. I do my best to play along with the chords and see what happens! I change the voice on the synth and the Caracol pedal settings throughout. I also recorded a track of the clean audio out from the synth so that you can hear the modulation source. The synth is panned more to the left and the guitar more to the right. There are sections of open chords and single notes being played on the guitar to demonstrate the different sounds.

If nothing else, just listen to the last quiet minute or so. That stuff blows my mind!

Thanks Adam!

I am in live with this track. Sounds like some early Neutral Milk Hotel but recorded better. Love it
