Hey Aen,
I don't know if you've already answered this somewhere else and if you have please direct me to it......

How did you get started making any books or training? I'm interested in making pedals.....
Did you start making kits or what?

Thanks Bro...... :thumb:

Yeah, Aen said in one of his youtube videos that that was the book that got him started. I went out and bought it that day. It is really a very cool book.

im like 98 percent sure im going to order that same book, i read a little of it and it seems easy to actually read. its hard to explain but i have tried to read about building stuff before and wasnt nearly as engaged as i was reading what i did of this book. others seem to be hard to pay attention to, even if i want to.

so yeah. good luck man! cant wait to try my hand at it as well.

Turns out that that book came out in a new 2nd addition on April 13th 2009.

Here is the Amazon link. http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/0415998735/ref=ord_cart_shr?_encoding=UTF8&m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&v=glance

I just ordered it myself last week and will hopefully get it tomorrow!

One book I do have and enjoy is Craig Anderton's Electronic Projects For Musicians: http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_ss_1_14? ... tronic+pro

I'd be interested in what Aen has to say also.

Oh, a great beginner book to electronics that is a classic is There Are No Electrons: Electronics For Earthlings: http://www.amazon.com/There-Are-Electro ... 238&sr=1-1

It's pretty basic but has good concepts in it that are explained at a level that anybody can understand.

I'll still looking for that perfect introductory to electronics text though! The Art of Electronics just seems too intimidating. I'm slowly working through All New Electronics Self-Teaching Guide which isn't too bad.

All these different builders on the ILF forum just inspire me to learn and try new things. Kudos to them! :thumb:
