So this happened last night

The UPS driver delivered this box of goodies to my door.

After my 2 year old helped me open the box (she's good at pointing and saying, "Open it! Open it!") and explaining to my wife that the SOMMS would probably do nothing more than piss her off, I put the child to bed and plugged them in. However, just using my bass would be far too easy, and besides, it was hanging on the wall begging to be plugged into something other than a DI box. So this happened.

That's right, a 5 string uke (gGCEA) was run through all of them, but mainly the Shiva. I'm fairly certain the thunderstorms that were in the area last night were my doing. Because the uke really has little to no sustain, the sputtering and artifacting on the ends of the notes was very present, as was the gated feel.

In process. Fiddled with them a little more today to get an idea of the sonic and tonal landscapes that were available, before I had to run to rehearsal. Hopefully in a week or so I'll have something to share.

Man I was just dreaming about this combination of pedals. There maybe a dwarfcraft shopping spree in my future depending on clips.
